What is the difference between expository essays and business communication and how are they alike?
i need to respond to a question for school but i need some help. i need to know whta the difference and similiarities are between expository essays and business communication. What associates degree should I get if I want to major in Communication?
I have to start out at a local community college, but it doesn't offer an associates degree in Communication (if there is such a thing). So what associates degree would be most suiting if I plan on majoring in Communication (preferably visual) at a university? I'm going to talk to a college counselor, but does anyone else have thoughts or knowledge about this?What associates degree should I get if I want to major in Communication?
mass comm is a major. but if you are going to transfer over to a four year college to get your bachelor degree, then only take general ed classes at your cc. You want a general AA or AS to transfer. You do not want to major in anything at a CC. Four year colleges usually only accept gen eds credits.

I hate Face Book!!!!!!!! All my wife does is spend all day and night on there talking to other people and playing on Farm town. I think for a lot of people, technology has taken over from where a person would talk to a neighbour over the back fence or go out and meet someone down the road.
Sometimes I think it has taken away our privacy or personal space. Like the option on an android phone to locate someone else or see where they are. But from a parental view, it would in some cases be good to be able to locate your kids just to know where they are and that they are safe.Advances in communication technology have been detrimental to personal relationships. What would be a good topic for an interpersonal communication paper regarding Criminal Justice?
I am completely stuck on figuring out a good topic to write about that is all about interpersonal communication but it has to be about something regarding the criminal justice field and all I can think of is Domestic violence.Any better Idea's?What would be a good topic for an interpersonal communication paper regarding Criminal Justice?

I am not sure if Domestic Violence would be an ideal topic since you need to write on Interpersonal Communication. I would suggest topics like criminal behavior dynamics, confrontation strategies, effective emotional communication etc.

You can write about what makes a criminal a criminal. Do you think someone is born a criminal? Do you think the environment you live in makes someone a criminal? Think of stuff like that.

You can write about what makes a pedophile a pedophile, what their behavior is like towards kids.
You can talk about:
Rational Theory vs. Situational Theory
Life Course Theory and Developmental Pathways
Social Process Theories and Personal freedoms of choice
labeling Theory and the resulting effects on children in our society
Crime as adaptive behavior
Social Structure Theory and the relationship to crime causation
