What is the importance of Hertz in wireless communication?

I know what is meant by hertz, it would be good to know how much is needed for standard communication, and how much hertz is used. In short please to try to give a simple explanation.

Thank you. What is the importance of Hertz in wireless communication?
Hertz is the SI unit to measure frequency of waves. All kinds of waves.

Particularly in telecomunications, radio waves are used to communicate on long distances.

It is just like you throw a stone in water and ripples on water is formed, the more the ripples the more the waves would travel. That means you need more frequency [Hertz] to travel long distance.

Hence Hertz needed for standard communication is directly dependant on the distance. What is the importance of Hertz in wireless communication?
Hello,

Hertz is actually used on the bandwidth frequency, so technically all of it is used. any will work however some numbers vary in effectively depending on how close other things use that frequency (like cell towers, microwaves or other wireless electronic devices such as house phones)

hope that helps
