What is the difference between electrical and chemical in terms of communication of Neurons?

This is for my neuro psy class. Neural Communication

Within neurons:electrical (generation and conduction)

and between neurons: chemical (transmission)

can someone explain these please???What is the difference between electrical and chemical in terms of communication of Neurons?
Chemical is the process of releasing a hormone in order to communicate. Electrical is sending an electric current to send the message. What is the difference between electrical and chemical in terms of communication of Neurons?
Impulses are passed down the neuron using an electrical impulse. This impulse is generated in the dendrites and passes down the axon to the axon terminals. In the axon terminals it becomes a chemical messenger. The axons terminals release the chemical messenger (the neurotransmitters) into the synaptic cleft. The are transmitted to the dendrites of the next neuron, where the neurotransmitters become an electrical impulse and the whole thing starts over again. What is the difference between electrical and chemical in terms of communication of Neurons?
what she said.
