What career will value direct straightforward communication?

I was told by my supervisor today that I should not use direct straightforward communication, but have to "play" by other agencies' games. I need a new career. One where people are honest, upfront and no games going on! By the way, I cannot do math too well so accounting is out. What career will value direct straightforward communication?
